Eric Hoffman born and raised in Flint Michigan, the son of a high school wrestling coach and a hairdresser. His grandfather was a fine baritone, autoworker and farmer. While playing with the band on the Jerry Lewis Show, the conductor, Lou Brown, heard him sing and encouraged him to pursue a singing career.
